  • Design and deliver EHS&S training for all locations, either in-person or through online platforms.
  • Participate in internal audits, conducting multi-media assessments.
  • Support the timely completion of corporate audits, reports, and incident investigations.
  • Lead or assist in the investigation of EHS incidents (e.g., near misses, OSHA recordables).
  • Engage in EHS capital project reviews and safety assessments of processes and projects.
  • Facilitate plant-level Safety Committee meetings across multiple sites.
  • Assist with EHS&S-related inquiries to support business operations.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in EHS&S.
  • Experience in the chemical manufacturing or industrial sector.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations.
  • A collaborative team player with proven interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with all organizational levels and delivering training.
  • Experience in EHS regulatory compliance, including regulatory impact analysis, compliance program development, and personnel training.
  • Ability to apply regulations to practical scenarios, identifying compliance, best practices, and gaps.
  • Task-oriented with the ability to operate within defined parameters to achieve high-quality outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement initiatives and corrective actions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with employees, vendors, customers, auditors, and senior management.
  • Proficient in business software applications.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001/14001 standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Dynamics [D365]).
  • Willingness to be actively involved in implementation and change processes.
  • A professional and positive attitude.
