Job Title: Help Desk Technician

HTG, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Help Desk Technician to join our team. As a Help Desk Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, and in-person
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
  • Configure and load software applications
  • Perform PC hardware and software diagnostics
  • Basic Active Directory and Networking knowledge
  • Update notes and status of all tickets worked in real time
  • Provide excellent customer service via phone and email
  • Write, proofread, and edit technical documentation
  • Follow documented procedures to set up new users and reset passwords
  • Access, update, and edit technical documentation as assigned
Requirements:
  • COMPTIA A+ Certification or equivalent experience
  • 1 year customer service experience, preferably in an IT capacity
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and after hours as job demands
Preferred Qualifications:
  • COMPTIA Network + or equivalent experience
  • Previous IT help desk or service desk experience strongly preferred
