With over 75 years of experience, ALMCO specializes in the production of top-tier industrial parts washers, as well as equipment for deburring, polishing, and tumbling. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sub-assembly and final assembly tasks on a range of mechanical and electrical components.
  • Utilize calibrated tools and machinery, along with engineering schematics and verbal instructions, to execute assembly functions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and adhere to established work procedures.
  • Interpret sketches and blueprints to identify and address any non-conformance issues.
  • Employ hand tools and power tools to assemble and wire products in accordance with customer specifications.
  • Apply relevant trade skills, including electrical and mechanical expertise, to complete assembly tasks.
  • Verify the accuracy of parts by consulting the bill of materials and ensuring compliance with assembly drawings.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve any discrepancies in assembly processes.
  • Perform ongoing inspections of products during assembly and prior to shipment.
  • Safely lift and position assemblies, utilizing overhead hoists or cranes as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Execute Assembly Department operations with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with mechanical and electromechanical components.
  • Understand part prints, including tolerances and symbols.
  • Conduct quality checks on components and make adjustments as needed.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Entry-level or 1-2 years of experience in assembly roles.
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electromechanical components.
  • Ability to read and interpret routing documents, bills of materials, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
  • Strong manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Positive attitude and strong motivation.
  • Commitment to excellence and high performance.

Training Requirements:

All applicable training will be conducted following the established syllabi for new hires, including Human Resources, Safety, and operational navigation. This training will be verified within the first 60 days of employment.
