Position Overview:

Lou-Rich is in search of a meticulous and skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician to contribute to our production operations. As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will be integral to our manufacturing workflow, ensuring that components are assembled accurately and efficiently to produce high-quality finished goods.

Your role will involve adhering to strict quality standards and assembling products in accordance with detailed specifications. Your expertise and attention to detail will be vital in achieving customer satisfaction and maintaining our reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute sub-assembly and final assembly tasks on a diverse range of mechanical and electrical components.
  • Utilize calibrated tools and machinery, along with engineering schematics and written instructions, to perform assembly functions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and uphold established work procedures.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to identify and rectify any discrepancies.
  • Engage in continuous inspection of products during the assembly process to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Safely lift and position assemblies, utilizing overhead hoists or cranes as necessary.
  • Keep the workspace clean, organized, and safe.
  • Operate with minimal supervision while setting up and performing assembly operations.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with mechanical and electromechanical components.
  • Conduct quality checks on parts and make necessary adjustments.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Entry-level or 1-2 years of experience in assembly roles.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electromechanical components.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including bills of material and assembly drawings.
  • Strong manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
