With over 75 years of experience, ALMCO specializes in the production of top-tier industrial parts washers, along with equipment for deburring, polishing, and tumbling. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sub-assembly and final assembly tasks on a diverse range of mechanical and electrical components.
  • Utilize calibrated tools and machinery, along with engineering drawings and schematics, to perform assembly functions accurately.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of work completed and adhere to established work procedures.
  • Interpret sketches and blueprints to identify and rectify non-conformance issues.
  • Engage with engineers and technicians to address assembly discrepancies.
  • Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process to ensure product integrity.
  • Safely lift and position assemblies, utilizing overhead hoists or cranes as necessary.
  • Keep a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Independently manage assembly operations with minimal supervision.
  • Possess a solid understanding of mechanical and electromechanical components.
  • Conduct quality checks on parts and make necessary adjustments.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Entry-level or 1-2 years of experience in assembly.
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electromechanical components.
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, bills of material, and work instructions.
  • Manual dexterity and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • A proactive attitude with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A commitment to high performance and quality standards.

Training Requirements:

New hires will undergo comprehensive training following established guidelines, which will be verified within the initial employment period. Ongoing training will be tailored based on performance and operational needs.
