Job Title: LPN Gynecology Oncology

We are seeking an experienced LPN to join our Gynecology Oncology team at Compass Oncology, a leading cancer care provider in the Portland and Vancouver communities.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide general nursing care to patients with gynecologic cancer diagnoses, working under the supervision of our experienced healthcare team. This role requires a strong understanding of nursing principles, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide general nursing care to patients, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and administration of medications.
  • Assist with patient education, including pre- and post-operative instructions and medication management.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including vital signs, medications, and treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • Current LPN state license and registration with the State Board of Practical Nursing in practicing state.
  • At least 3 years' experience as a practical nurse, with a strong background in oncology nursing.
  • Phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • American Heart Association accredited BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
