Job Summary

The Clinical Mammography Technologist plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care at Riverview Health. This position requires a skilled professional to perform mammography procedures, process images, and maintain quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce high-quality mammography, breast ultrasound, and related imaging activities, ensuring accurate and clear images.
  • Demonstrate expertise in mammography, breast ultrasound, breast interventional, and bone densitometry procedures.
  • Maintain quality control standards, adhering to FDA guidelines and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Complete and record hand hygiene logs weekly and quality and safety forms monthly.
  • Perform the EQUIP program for MQSA guidelines, tracking radiologist and technologist skill levels and performance.
  • Maintain pathology results and records, communicating results to physician offices and patients.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, portraying a professional image of Riverview Health and its employees.
  • Participate in continuing education and learning experiences to enhance and maintain current knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) program.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist certification in radiology and mammography or mammography eligibility.
  • Basic Life Safety certification from the American Heart Association.
