Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic radiologic exams and procedures according to physician orders, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
- Utilize the Radiology Information System/Picture Archiving and Communication systems effectively to manage patient data and images.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support the educational needs of radiologic technology students.
Requirements:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and colleagues.
- Aptitude for working in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in radiology software systems.
- Experience with sterile procedures and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; 1-3 years of experience as a radiology technologist preferred.
- Current license as a radiologic technologist by the State of Indiana and current ARRT (R) Registry OR current active radiology student permit by the State of Indiana and be ARRT registry eligible.
- ARRT (R) registry and radiologic technologist license by the State of Indiana must be obtained within six months of employment.
