Event Security Specialist

About the Role

The Event Security Specialist is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all events at the Crown Complex. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to requests for assistance from staff and visitors for a variety of security issues, including fire and medical emergencies.
  • Perform all event and non-event security duties as assigned, including conducting building safety inspections and following established security procedures.
  • Provide regular security functions within the Crown Complex and related areas, prior to, during, and after all events.
  • Protect equipment, materials, and structures throughout the work schedule.
  • Provide escorts of persons to and from locations within the complex, as requested.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Must be an active-duty Cumberland County Deputy.
  • Able to work events as assigned.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in the English language required.
  • Ability to work beyond traditional business hours, including nights, weekends, and select holidays.
  • Must demonstrate strong attention to detail and a positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
