Clinical Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team at UMass Memorial Health. As a Clinical Therapist, you will provide outpatient diagnostic evaluations and psychotherapeutic treatment services to children, adolescents, and adults in individual, family, couple, and group therapy.
Responsibilities- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and screenings to identify client needs and develop treatment plans.
- Provide crisis/emergency assessment and intervention services to clients in need.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that are behaviorally oriented, measurable, and appropriate for the identified level of care.
- Provide behavioral health consultation to early intervention and early education and care programs.
- Consult with early intervention programs, early education and care programs, area schools, medical providers, individuals, and other social services agencies regarding clients, client services, and case management.
- Maintain client records and administrative records according to Center policy.
- Attend administrative staff meetings as required and participate in interdisciplinary diagnostic treatment and planning conferences.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, or a related field. You will also need to have the ability to perform diagnostic and risk assessments using current accepted tools and best practices to determine appropriate level of care.
