Clinical Therapist Intern

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Clinical Therapist Intern to join our team. As a Clinical Therapist Intern, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population of adults, children, and adolescents, providing individual and group therapy, as well as completing comprehensive assessments and treatment plans.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct clinical treatment to clients through diagnostic evaluations, crisis/emergency assessment and intervention, treatment planning, and individual and group therapy.
- Participate in interdisciplinary diagnostic treatment and planning conferences as needed.
- Consult with area schools, doctors, individuals, and other social service agencies regarding clients and client services.
- Enrolled in a Master's degree program in a clinical course of study in behavioral health (social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling or related field) that meets the academic requirements for independent licensure in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Subject to a CORI review as outlined in the regulations set by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services.
