We are looking for a skilled professional to join our Modeling Operations team within the Enterprise Actuarial Modeling division. This position offers flexibility with options for on-site, hybrid, or fully remote work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute production-related tasks throughout the Model development lifecycle, focusing on valuation and production model implementation and conversion projects.
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), model validation, and the integration of code changes into the Master model.
  • Assist in resolving model defects and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain comprehensive model documentation and collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure proper review and approval processes are followed.
  • Oversee model staging and the integration of production models across various use cases.
  • Collaborate with IT and other functional areas to devise effective and innovative solutions that streamline modeling processes.
  • Provide troubleshooting and support for Enterprise Prophet users.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, computer science, finance, mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 6 years of actuarial experience.
  • Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation.
  • At least 4 years of experience in model development using Prophet Professional and Prophet Enterprise.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Visual Basic, and SQL.
  • Self-motivated with a proven ability to collaborate with diverse business partners.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, managing long-term projects effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in production and/or project management.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies.
