We are currently looking for a skilled professional to join our Modeling Operations team within the Enterprise Actuarial Modeling department. This position offers flexibility with options for on-site, hybrid, or fully remote work arrangements.
Your Contributions:
- Execute production-related tasks throughout the Model development lifecycle, focusing on testing for all valuation and production model implementation and conversion initiatives.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), model validation, and integration of code changes into the Master model.
- Assist in resolving model defects and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Maintain comprehensive model documentation and collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to ensure thorough review and UAT documentation for all model modifications.
- Oversee model staging and integration processes for production models across various applications.
- Collaborate with IT and other functional areas to devise effective and innovative solutions aimed at streamlining modeling processes, including model review and testing protocols.
- Provide troubleshooting and support for Enterprise Prophet users.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, computer science, finance, mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of actuarial experience.
- FSA designation is required.
- At least 4 years of experience in model development using Prophet Professional and Prophet Enterprise.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Visual Basic, and SQL.
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to develop solutions through collaboration with diverse business partners.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team, managing long-term projects effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience in production and/or project management.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies.
