As a Logistics Quality Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the integrity and quality of our inventory by verifying item attributes. You will serve as the first point of contact for any identified discrepancies, external damages, and exceptions as freight moves through the facility, responding promptly to operational alerts.

This role involves assisting Operations Managers in executing detailed problem-solving strategies as defects arise. You will investigate the root causes of issues, conduct thorough research, rectify discrepancies, and document your findings. Collaboration with the Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA) team and other process teams will be essential in addressing identified challenges.

You will effectively manage multiple priorities while delivering exceptional service that exceeds basic expectations. Your ability to anticipate the needs of your leaders and proactively address potential issues will uphold Target's values and demonstrate professionalism and leadership.

About You:
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or a similar role.
- Ability to lift and carry merchandise weighing between 35-50 lbs. frequently and up to 60 lbs. occasionally.
- Willingness to be trained on powered equipment as necessary.
- Maintain a positive and respectful attitude while working independently and collaboratively.
- Proficient in reading, matching, and comprehending product documentation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
- Competent in operating computer systems or handheld devices with minimal supervision after training.
- Capable of researching defects and identifying root causes.
- Proficient in basic data entry and analysis using Excel.
- Familiarity with web-based ICQA reporting and forms (such as Smartsheet) after training.
