About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Student Services Coordinator to join our team at NewPath Child & Family Solutions. As a key member of our Education & Day Programs department, you will play a vital role in guiding and engaging our spectrum of Day Programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and Attend IEP Meetings: Ensure timely and effective participation in Individual Education Program (IEP) meetings for all students, adhering to Ohio Department of Education (ODE) standards.
  • Compliance and Coordination: Maintain NewPath's compliance with ODE standards, coordinate the development of IEPs, and ensure students' Specially Designed Instruction minutes are addressed in accordance with Director of Special Education approval.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Foster working relationships with students' NewPath teams, home school districts, and external teams, providing input for teacher evaluations and contributing to special education documentation.
  • Professional Development: Maintain professional teaching certification as an Intervention Specialist in the required domain and complete Critical Incident Reports, Non-Critical Incident Reports, and Restraint Incident Forms by the end of each shift.
  • Operational Excellence: Adhere to Ohio Department of Education standard operating procedures for special education, ensuring seamless execution of daily tasks.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, Master's preferred, or qualifying experience for additional administration duties. Current ODE education licensure as an Intervention Specialist in the qualifying domain.
  • Experience and Skills: Two years of experience working with high-risk youth populations, strong interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills, detail-oriented, excellent organizational skills, and flexibility.
  • Technical Requirements: Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and ability to use standard Microsoft Office applications, excellent interpersonal skills, fluency in education best practices, and experience in training.
  • Additional Requirements: Valid driver's license, use of a vehicle, and proof of valid insurance.
