Position Summary:
The Compliance Specialist will oversee the management of Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs), fuel consumption metrics, International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) compliance, and the permitting, titling, and registration of DOT vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Perform regular audits and evaluations to pinpoint areas of non-compliance, including IFTA reporting and vehicle registrations.
- Generate comprehensive reports detailing compliance status and findings for management review.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve compliance challenges and offer insights on best practices.
- Remain informed on industry regulations and updates in compliance and state laws.
- Support the creation of training initiatives to educate staff on compliance protocols.

Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in compliance management within the transportation or logistics sector.
- In-depth understanding of DOT and other relevant state and federal compliance standards.
- Proficient report writing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Extensive experience with Excel and SharePoint.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and effectively prioritize tasks.
- Strong communication skills for interaction with drivers, clients, and regulatory representatives across various locations.
