About the Position

Globe Communications, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to lead our construction operations team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to construction crews and support staff.
  • Implement and maintain a strong safety culture within the team.
  • Develop and train a team of supervisors who understand the key performance indicators and economic engines of the business.
  • Conduct daily and weekly planning meetings to ensure quality control.
  • Participate in the financial forecast process and budget preparation.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to reduce unnecessary expenses, damages, and risk for the company.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide regular performance feedback and development opportunities for employees.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to implement policies and administrative procedures.
  • Validate and approve daily personnel time reports.
  • Represent the company at various forums, community, and customer meetings.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalency is required.
  • BS/BA degree preferred.
  • 5-10 years of management and/or supervisory experience in OSP Telecom Construction.
  • Advanced technical skills with various computer applications and experience using Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with attention to detail, individually and collaboratively in a team, meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize workflow.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals at all levels and areas within the organization.
