**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Sales Representative to join our team at TTI, Inc. in the New Jersey market. As a Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for increasing sales in our New Jersey territory by hunting for new opportunities, expanding existing relationships with current clients, and following up on potential leads.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Generate and pursue business leads and call on customers to create new opportunities
  • Attend quarterly business reviews with suppliers to understand the business outlook and opportunities
  • Work with local and regional suppliers to create a partnership that will position the company as the primary distributor of choice
  • Attend and conduct client product training
  • Follow through on every level of the sales cycle for key customers by keeping in touch with the customer, inside sales, manufacturers, quotes, and ensure that everything is complete, timely, and meets customer expectations
  • Answer and resolve all key customer technical questions, problems, and complaints in a timely manner to provide the highest level of service available
  • Maintain market awareness on competitor activities, industry trends, and new concepts to identify potential opportunities for company growth

**Requirements**

  • Degree from a four-year college or university preferred, with a minimum of two years of Engineering and/or Component Sales experience preferred with a progression from inside sales; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Self-motivated individuals who are comfortable working with little to no direction when out in the field
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge, understanding, and/or experience in technical sales
  • Exhibits strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills
  • Strong computer skills and understanding of Excel
  • Must possess a valid state driver's license, safe driving record, and be insurable by the Company's liability carrier
  • Must be willing to travel in assigned territory up to 50 percent of the time
