Compensation: $68,000 - $74,000 annually
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day or Swing shifts
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, ICP, UV, FTIR, and dissolution testers in a laboratory environment.
- Conduct various analytical tests including wet chemistry, assays, impurity/degradant analysis, dissolution, and residual solvent testing in accordance with USP or internal methodologies.
- Engage in research activities and investigate discrepancies in analytical testing outcomes.
- Address analytical challenges highlighted in regulatory communications.
- Adhere to cGMP standards and comply with all established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and analytical instruments, assisting with calibration and qualification processes.
- Review colleagues' documentation for quality and technical accuracy to ensure compliance with SOPs and GMPs.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior chemists in method development as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical sectors.
- At least 1 year of recent experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry is essential.
- Proficiency in operating HPLC, GC, ICP, UV, FTIR, and dissolution testing equipment in a laboratory setting.
