We are seeking a skilled Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team at Mental Health Systems, Inc.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality care to individuals struggling with addiction. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, staff, and community partners to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to adult clients, focusing on substance abuse recovery skills and relapse prevention strategies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of clients.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices in substance abuse treatment and mental health care.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in human services or a related field, with at least one year of experience working with alcohol and drug related issues/addictions.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an estimated annual salary of $65,000, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
