We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to fill the role of Substance Abuse Program Director at The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC). About the Role

The Substance Abuse Program Director will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the ARC's substance abuse program. This includes managing staff, developing and implementing curriculum, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and Manage Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care to beneficiaries.
  • Develop Curriculum: Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that meets the needs of beneficiaries and aligns with ARC standards.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all program activities are conducted in accordance with ARC policies and procedures, as well as local and national regulations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., counseling, social work) and 3-5 years of experience working in a substance abuse treatment setting.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) or equivalent certification; valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent leadership and communication skills; ability to work effectively with diverse populations; strong organizational and time management skills.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is approximately $60,000-$70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. The ARC offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
