Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stewardship Coordinator to join our Sourcing team at the Houston Food Bank. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our Sourcing Managers, ensuring the efficient and effective management of donor relationships and resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of donor data, including levels of giving, regular mailings, gifts, and annual events.
  • Coordinate donor recognition programs, including planning and executing special events.
  • Develop and maintain donor portfolios and prospecting lists.
  • Assist Sourcing Managers with reports, queries, and special projects as needed.
  • Utilize data to build and maintain donor and donation data.
  • Collaborate with the Development team to share best practices and provide a consistent experience for all donors.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree from an accredited college or university; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in a related field, such as event management, database management, fundraising, or administrative assistance.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work with a diverse population.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to accurately prepare and maintain files, reports, and records.
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
