Job Responsibilities
Purpose and Scope:
The Director of Title III Initiatives serves as the project administrator, overseeing the daily operations of the Title III program, including all post-award administrative duties. This position requires coordination with faculty, staff, and administrators to ensure that all activities under the grant align with proposed objectives and comply with funding guidelines and reporting requirements. This is a grant-funded role, and continuation is contingent upon ongoing grant funding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee planning and execution of essential functions within the Title III Project.
- Manage both full-time and part-time professional and support staff.
- Facilitate collaboration across all areas of the Title III Project to maintain a unified standard of service.
- Administer and monitor budgets in accordance with federal and institutional guidelines.
- Utilize data-driven insights to provide updates to administration.
- Interpret and implement policies related to compliance issues.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant internal and external regulations and institutional policies.
- Represent the goals of the assigned area to various stakeholders effectively.
- Participate in meetings, committees, workshops, and conferences as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in education, public administration, or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of relevant experience in higher education, including at least two years with federal grant programs, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred:
- Master's degree.
- Experience with Title III programs.
