Position Summary
The Materials Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting Inventory Management across all divisions of ONEOK, utilizing Oracle and related software systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Routine Tasks:
    Conduct month-end closing and month-start opening for Inventory and Purchasing Periods.
    Generate, review, and distribute the Weekly Cycle Count Report.
    Prepare and disseminate Weekly Inventory KPI reports, following up on action items.
  • Ongoing Duties:
    Create, revise, and inactivate Material Item Masters.
    Manage Supplier Master records.
    Perform data mining and organization for specialized reports.
    Facilitate asset transfers within Oracle.
    Investigate discrepancies in cost accounting related to inventory transactions.
    Conduct specific data analysis as assigned by management.
  • Backup Responsibilities:
    Cross-train to cover essential tasks of Fleet Management and Logistics Management Analysts.
    Ensure team members are equipped to perform critical functions.
    Review and update desktop procedures as necessary.

Essential Functions
Utilize inventory control methodologies and system tools to monitor and assess inventory levels, forecast material needs, and manage inventory movement and accuracy. Maintain performance reporting related to inventory control.

Assist in the development and upkeep of ERP materials management applications, identifying areas for improvement and participating in testing and implementation of changes. Provide training and technical support to system users and other stakeholders.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience in relevant job functions.

Experience: Familiarity with materials management processes and inventory control methods, including replenishment, cycle counting, and ABC analysis. Proficient in office equipment and software applications.

Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of project activities involving process controls, compliance, and performance management. Ability to apply mathematical concepts and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Physical Requirements
This position primarily involves sedentary work, with occasional lifting and movement. The employee will work in a well-lit, climate-controlled environment, with frequent use of computer monitors.
