Job Summary

The Transit Policy Analyst will be responsible for leading analysis and development of transit policy, tracking implementation within Headquarters programs and Districts, and aligning work with the California Transportation Plan, Caltrans Strategic Plan, Climate Action Plan for Transportation Infrastructure, statewide modal plans, federal transit and rail policies, and state transit and rail policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement transit policy initiatives that align with organizational goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of transit policy
  • Provide input on transit plans to ensure alignment with transit policy
  • Collect and analyze data to compile reports, charts, tables, and other graphics

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of transportation policy and a proven track record of developing and implementing effective policy initiatives. You will also need to have excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
