Job Title: Budget Analyst

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Budget Analyst to join our team.

The Finance Department is currently undergoing a significant transformation, establishing a standalone Department of Finance with a full spectrum of finance functions to support the district.

As part of this separation process from the County, the district is implementing a new ERP system, establishing in-house treasury and cash management operations, new banking relationships, payment services, etc.

This is a full-time hybrid role as a Budget Analyst, requiring a well-qualified candidate with an intersection of skills in project management and finance operations to oversee the establishment of systems and processes for an independent government agency finance department and the transition of responsibilities from the County.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement budget plans and forecasts
  • Manage financial data and reporting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial operations are aligned with district goals
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial policies

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of accounting experience
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience
  • 3+ years of treasury operations experience
  • Proficiency with ERP accounting software such as SAP or Tyler Munis
  • Strong command of Operations Management and Analytical skills
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance in finance
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Competitive hourly rate: $44.04/hr to $60.00/hr
