Job Summary

MedStar Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Medical Assistant Supervisor to join our team at MedStar Medical Group. As a key member of our ambulatory care team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of clinical associates and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of clinical associates to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Conduct regular training and coaching sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of clinical associates.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Monitor and report on quality and safety metrics to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; completion of an approved Medical Assistant program or valid LPN license preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a medical office or ambulatory health setting; prior supervisory experience a plus.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
