Hotel Engineer II Job Description

Marriott International, Inc is seeking a skilled Hotel Engineer II to join our team. As a Hotel Engineer II, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to guest repair requests and communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
  • Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and shut-offs for buildings.
  • Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
  • Assure each day's activities and problems that occur are communicated to the other shifts using approved communication programs and standards.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and vocational or technical background.
  • At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting.
