HR Operations Manager

Position Summary:
The Human Resources Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing employee-related functions and executing strategic initiatives across various HR domains. This position reports directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer and encompasses responsibilities in recruitment, compensation, benefits administration, compliance with employment laws, training and development, and promoting employee safety and wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise HR generalists and HR assistants.
- Conduct audits of payroll, benefits, and other HR programs as required.
- Establish objectives for the HR team and monitor progress.
- Design and implement policies that foster a positive workplace culture.
- Collaborate with the Chief Human Resources Officer on strategic HR initiatives, including performance management, workforce planning, and employee development.
- Address employee concerns proactively and coordinate necessary investigations.
- Manage the termination process, including documentation and meetings.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of wage analysis.
- Oversee the Performance Management process.
- Prepare reports as needed for organizational needs.
- Support various HR functions such as recruitment, personnel records, employee relations, job evaluation, and benefits administration.
- Lead HR projects as assigned by the Chief Human Resources Officer.
- Ensure effective delivery of HR programs and strategies, including onboarding and talent management.
- Provide guidance on employee relations issues to managers and leaders.
- Maintain data integrity in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) for accurate reporting and analysis.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
- Solid understanding of human resource principles and practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment.
Education and Experience:
- Formal training in business, Human Resources Management, or related fields.
- Associate degree in Business or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of HR experience, or 5 years of relevant HR experience.
- Experience with ADP systems is highly preferred.
- Possession of PHR or SHRM certification is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to bend, stoop, and climb to access supplies and files.
- Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs.
