Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team at One World Ventures, LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the electrical operations and maintenance of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Select and assign staff, ensuring equal employment opportunity in hiring and promotion, and coordinate activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.
  • Performance Evaluation: Evaluate and verify employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques.
  • Training and Development: Identify staff development and training needs and ensure that training is obtained.
  • Labor Relations: Ensure proper labor relations and conditions of employment are maintained.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records, prepare reports, and compose correspondence relative to the work.
  • Cost Estimation: Estimate the cost of materials needed to accomplish tasks.
  • Equipment Inspection: Inspect and evaluate electrical equipment to ensure that it operates efficiently and safely, and determine whether equipment and new installations meet requirements of the National Electrical Code.
Requirements
  • Minimum Qualifications: Considerable knowledge of complex electrical control devices, complex electrical generating equipment, occupational hazards and safety precautions of electricity, and the electrical code.
  • Skills: Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms, excellent organizational skills, and excellent time managing skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
