Position Summary:
The individual in this role will spearhead advancements in biological and digital methodologies within the organization. This involves executing specialized research tasks across various program domains. The role provides essential technical and digital assistance to research professionals, facilitating the efficient planning and execution of diverse R&D trials. In addition to conducting both standard and innovative research projects, the candidate will contribute to sustainability and innovation initiatives by leveraging expertise in engineering, digital technologies, and biotechnology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in R&D trials and collaborate with digital product biologists to gather, analyze, and interpret remote sensing data.
  • Partner with R&D scientists to offer support in laboratory, greenhouse, and field trials, including trial planning and data collection.
  • Act as the primary digital liaison on-site, engaging with stakeholders in digital product development.
  • Contribute to project planning and execution by defining experimental goals and continuously improving R&D processes through suggestions and implementations.
  • Conduct routine or specialized experimental trials.
  • Produce high-quality biological data to aid in the development of new crop protection solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in biology, agriculture, ag biotech, or a related field, or an Associate's degree in agriculture, biotechnology, or similar with four years of technician experience.
  • Experience gained through job-related training and substantial on-the-job experience.
  • Possession of an FAA remote pilot license is advantageous.
  • Background in agricultural engineering or biotechnology with a strong interest in digital and remote sensing technologies.
  • Demonstrated scientific rigor and adaptability to dynamic project demands.
  • Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship.
