Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Channel Management Team as a Director, Growth Strategy. This is a key role that will play a critical part in driving the growth and profitability of one of our largest retail partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy Development: Define and implement strategies to deliver performance promises and drive business growth.
  • Initiative Planning and Implementation: Plan, sell, and implement joint-growth and profitability initiatives with stakeholders at the retail partner and SquareTrade's internal teams.
  • Customer Experience: Understand the retail partner's path to purchase and post-purchase experience, and partner with Customer Experience and other teams to deliver the best solutions.
  • Retail Execution and Channel Marketing: Partner with Retail Execution and Merchandising to increase in-store customer and Associate awareness, and partner with the retail partner's dotcom teams to increase online sales.
  • Account Support: Provide support on various activities such as reporting, content development, event planning, and project management.
  • Product and Service Innovations: Gain a deep understanding of our business and bring innovative ideas to the table.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct analysis and tracking of the highly complex and dynamic partner environment to ensure SquareTrade maintains its competitive advantage.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in management consulting, operations management, or business development/account management, especially working for/with retailers, OEMs/manufacturers, or other B2B businesses.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience putting slides together to tell a story. Self-starter who can independently drive projects and initiatives forward, including through problem solving and decision-making. Comfortable with shifting priorities and ambiguity. Advanced user of Excel and PowerPoint. SQL and Tableau experience is a plus.
