Job Title: RNFA

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting surgeons in the operating room, ensuring a smooth and efficient surgical process.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist surgeons in operations, maintaining aseptic technique and ensuring patient safety
  • Coordinate patient positioning, using body stabilizing equipment to provide optimal exposure
  • Prepare and apply sterile wound dressings, sutures, and staples
  • Discuss surgical procedures with surgeons, including operative consent and patient-advanced directives
  • Monitor patient intra-operative status, including vital signs and blood volume
  • Assist with patient resuscitation during cardiac arrest or other life-threatening events
Requirements:
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience working in an ambulatory or surgical setting
  • Possess an ability to function in a high-stress, physically demanding environment
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and preventative measures (HIPAA confidentiality, infection spread, etc.)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to exercise manual dexterity, control precision, and arm-hand steadiness accurately
Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this position include frequent use of hands or fingers, handling or feeling objects, tools, or controls. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Compensation:

$55.00 per hour
