About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Vocational Specialist to join our team at RHA Health Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health and/or substance use needs to live their best lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to individuals in home, school, workplace, and community settings to promote recovery, symptom reduction, and increased coping skills.
  • Facilitate relationships and serve as a link between individuals, family, guardians, local agencies, and the community.
  • Minimize the negative effects of psychiatric symptoms or substance dependence that interfere with daily living and personal development.
  • Support skill building activities, including daily and community living skills, socialization skills, adaptation skills, and behavior and anger management.
  • Perform case management functions, linking and arranging for services and referrals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field and 2+ years of full-time experience with the population served.
  • Bachelor's degree (not in a Human Services field) and 4+ years of full-time experience with the population served.
  • OR Master's Degree or Higher and 1+ year of full-time experience with the population served.
  • License, Provisional License, Certificate, Registration, Permit issued by the governing board regulating the human service profession.
