Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MultiCraft Maintenance Technician to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and minimal downtime.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and PLC system issues to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Fabricate and modify metal components as required to meet the needs of our operations.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to implement operational improvements and new installations, driving innovation and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities and repairs to ensure compliance and transparency.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, maintaining a safe and clean work environment for all employees.
  • Train and mentor junior staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for emergency repairs and maintenance, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay current with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure our operations remain at the forefront of innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the engineering industry.
  • Proven expertise in electrical, mechanical, metal fabrication, and PLC.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure accurate understanding and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • High level of physical fitness, with the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence, with a willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, if required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Completion of a relevant trade certification or diploma is preferred.
