Job Description

JobsRUs is looking to hire a Laboratory Technician for a prominent client.


Benefits Offered:

Shift Schedule:

8:00 AM to 5:00 PM


Ideal Candidate Profile:

The successful applicant will possess:

  • Experience in laboratory settings
  • Skills in product evaluation
  • An Associate's degree in a relevant field

The contractor will assist with the Building Insulation R&D Technology Development Project, which includes:

  • Preparation and testing of samples for finished products and trial prototypes
  • Development of testing methods for product evaluation
  • Support for safe operational documentation of laboratory equipment
  • Assistance with the operation of prototype machinery

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety Commitment:
    Participate in monthly safety meetings, ensure adherence to safety protocols, identify hazards, and contribute to safety documentation.
  • Sample Preparation and Testing:
    Prepare samples for laboratory testing and conduct evaluations using established methods, documenting results for team communication.
  • Prototype Operations:
    Operate prototype equipment and collaborate with project leaders to fulfill development requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in a scientific or engineering discipline
  • Experience in a laboratory environment

Preferred Experience:
  • Proven safe work practices
  • Familiarity with laboratory and testing equipment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Basic understanding of statistics
