Job Description

JobsRUs is seeking a highly skilled Process Development Specialist to join our team in Granville, OH. As a Process Development Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of recycling technologies for fiberglass.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement process development plans to support the creation of robust recycling technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build pilot equipment to support circular economy efforts.
  • Conduct experiments and gather data in prototype equipment to inform process development decisions.
  • Work with laboratory equipment to analyze raw material samples and determine properties.
  • Develop and maintain laboratory inventory of consumable materials.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Technical proficiency in electro-mechanical applications.
  • Experience with hands-on construction of mechanical prototypes, including piping and measurement instrumentation of fluids or hot gases.
  • Ability to safely assist the circular economy team during manufacturing plant trials.
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand new technologies.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 25% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in minerals or glass processing.
  • Experience with recycling processes and equipment (i.e. grinding, sorting, separation, and bulk material handling).
