Job Overview

Position Title: Laboratory Specialist

Contract Duration: 04 Months (Potential for Extension)

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM

Responsibilities Include:

Safety Engagement:

  • Attend monthly safety meetings.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and corporate guidelines.
  • Identify and address safety risks in the workplace.
  • Assist in drafting safety documentation such as SOPs and JHAs.
  • Contribute to laboratory organization and cleanliness.

Sample Preparation and Testing:

  • Prepare samples for laboratory and application assessments.
  • Conduct laboratory and application tests utilizing knowledge of testing methodologies.
  • Document results for communication with the project team.

Prototype Operations:

  • Operate prototype machinery to support development trials.
  • Collaborate with project engineers to fulfill prototype and testing equipment requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in a scientific or engineering discipline.
  • Experience in a laboratory environment.

Required Experience:

  • Proven safe work practices.
  • Comfortable using laboratory and testing apparatus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to understand and apply basic statistical concepts.
