Practical Nurse - Gastroenterology
LOCATION:
Williamsburg, VA/Newport News
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Experience in a private practice or outpatient environment
- Proficient in patient rooming procedures
- Capable of obtaining vital signs
- Assisting with examinations and medical procedures
- Experience in Gastroenterology/Endoscopy is advantageous
- Comfortable in delivering patient education
CERTIFICATIONS:
- BLS Certification
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Virginia
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Room patients efficiently
- Provide comprehensive patient education and clarify procedures
- Assist healthcare providers during examinations and medical procedures
- Deliver post-procedure instructions to patients
- Accurately document patient information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
