Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Manager to join our team at Oklahoma Heart Hospital. As a Radiology Manager, you will play a pivotal role in steering the radiology department's daily operations, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and optimizing resource management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with the Director to manage and streamline daily operations, guaranteeing that all diagnostic radiological procedures are executed promptly and in strict accordance with physician orders and patient prescriptions.
  • Lead by example, serving as a role model for the team, and inspire and guide radiology technologists, physicians, nurses, and allied health staff, fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes the safe and accurate delivery of patient care.
  • Deliver exceptional patient care by performing radiological procedures with precision and speed, assessing patient conditions to ensure the accurate execution of exams, and providing clear explanations to patients about their procedures and expected cooperation.
  • Ensure that all clinical equipment and supplies are available, operational, and utilized safely, and proactively manage departmental resources to maintain a high standard of care.
  • Drive departmental excellence through Performance Improvement initiatives, conducting satisfaction surveys for patients, physicians, and staff, and implementing corrective actions to address identified issues.
  • Assess and recommend staffing needs to ensure quality patient care, evaluate and verify the qualifications and competence of department personnel, and ensure a skilled and effective team.
  • Provide thorough, direct patient care, creating a safe and comforting environment, and collaborate with other staff to meet the needs of patients and their families, ensuring all aspects of care are addressed.
Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of radiological procedures and equipment.
  • Proficiency in federal and state regulations pertaining to radiology.
  • Ability to manage and lead a diverse team effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Education and Experience
  • Graduated from an accredited radiology program.
  • Current state certification and current American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) certification.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Minimum of three (3) years as a Radiology Technologist with knowledge of multiple modalities required. Minimum of one (1) year recent supervisory experience preferred.
