Job Summary: Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in Oklahoma City, OK.

About the Job: As a Computed Tomography Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and performing computed tomography scans. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform computed tomography scans on patients, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Prepare patients for scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients correctly.
  • Operate computed tomography equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient scans and procedures, including patient information and scan results.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient department operations.

Requirements:

  • One to three years of experience as a Computed Tomography Technologist.
  • Current certification in Computed Tomography (CT) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
