Quality Assurance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our automotive aluminum and magnesium cast components.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Development of New Processes: Collaborate with our engineering team to design, implement, and optimize new machining, equipment, and processes to improve product quality and efficiency.
- Monitor Product Quality: Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure that our products meet the required quality standards, and make adjustments to CNC programs and tools as necessary.
- Perform Machine Verification and Inspections: Verify that our machines are functioning correctly and perform regular inspections to ensure that they are operating within the specified parameters.
- Assist with Machine Repairs and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to resolve issues with our equipment and machinery, and assist with repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Complete Machine Interval Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of our machines to ensure that they are in good working condition and functioning correctly.
- Monitor Cutting Tools and Consumable Inventories: Ensure that our equipment has the necessary cutting tools and consumables to operate efficiently and effectively.
- Support Environmental Management Plan Goals: Identify environmental aspects within our department and support our Environmental Management Plan (EMP) goals and targets through training, engagement, and communication.
- Experience with CNC Machines and Programming: Proven experience working with common CNC machines and programming languages.
- Working Knowledge of CAD Software: Familiarity with Auto CAD and/or Solid Works, with the ability to create and edit designs as needed.
- Siemens PLC Programming Skills: Experience with Siemens PLC programming languages, with the ability to create and implement programs as needed.
