Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technician to join our team at N2S Healthcare Staffing Solutions, LLC. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound exams, prioritizing and coordinating exams with nursing units, radiologists, and referring physicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exam Coordination: Review requests and confirm orders for each patient, ensuring timely and efficient exam completion.
  • Assisting Radiologists: Assist radiologists during invasive procedures, providing support and expertise as needed.
  • Quality Control: Evaluate exam quality and enhance techniques to optimize department efficiency and patient care.
  • Patient Care: Provide quality patient care specific to each requested examination, prioritizing patient comfort and safety.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Report equipment issues to appropriate personnel, ensuring seamless operation of ultrasound equipment.
  • Documentation: Utilize radiology computer system for exam documentation, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Work Environment: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to departmental regulations and professional standards.

Requirements:

  • Certification: Must be certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (S).
  • Education: Graduation from a comprehensive medical diagnostic ultrasound program is preferred.
  • Skills: Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
