Key Responsibilities- Operate Company Vehicles Safely: Drive company pick-up trucks and other non-CDL vehicles and equipment, ensuring the safe transportation of waste and recyclables.
- Conduct Daily Route Assignments: Manage daily route assignments, noting start and completion times, taking before/after photos of services performed, and communicating with relevant departments to report/resolve issues.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Service assigned properties on site, sorting trash, recycling, and compostable waste into appropriate containers, hauling bulky items off-site, and manually compacting waste.
- Maintain Equipment and Vehicles: Conduct weekly truck inspections and report any issues, ensuring the proper maintenance of company equipment and vehicles.
- Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license (non-CDL) and a clean driving record, with no major violations in the last 3 years or more than 2 minor violations, including a handheld device in the last 3 years.
- Physical Demands: Frequently lift items weighing 50-80 lbs, push/maneuver dumpsters and compactors weighing more than 500 lbs, and step in/out of waste containers safely with the use of a ladder.
- Communication Skills: Work well with others in a team environment, communicate effectively with colleagues and management, and possess strong time management skills.
