Environmental Compliance Specialist

The Snohomish County PUD is seeking an Environmental Specialist II or III to join our Environmental Affairs Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting environmental programs and providing technical expertise in areas such as Emergency Planning, Community Right-to-Know Act, and Clean Water Act.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement programs to reduce the company's environmental impact
- Track emerging regulations and recommend strategies to ensure compliance
- Participate in spill response and rotating on-call duties
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in environmental health, environmental science, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in environmental compliance and sustainability
- Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response certification (HAZWOPER)
