Daily Responsibilities:

  • Breakdown of daily tasks and interactions
  • Description of the work environment
Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze various reports to uncover trends and areas needing attention.
  • Identify and monitor input and processing discrepancies within the systems utilized by the designated business sector.
  • Resolve issues related to reports for specified modifications and confirm resolution.
  • Conduct analysis and generate reports.
  • Organize and evaluate errors to determine root causes and propose effective solutions (including system enhancements, error triggers, mapping issues, human errors, and training requirements).
  • Develop, implement, and maintain metrics to ensure adherence to defined business processes, ensuring they remain relevant and effective in achieving business goals.
  • Collaborate with management to outline the scope, specifications, deliverables, and controls for projects involving new and existing application development technologies and software capabilities.
  • Ensure compatibility of new technology capabilities with current application software architecture and verify that existing business systems applications align with current business applications.
  • Analyze and define new processes, working with management to ascertain appropriate system requirements to support these processes.
  • Assist in the design and integration of new business technologies into both new and existing environments.
  • May undertake Project Management responsibilities for new applications or functionalities, including project plans, charters, business cases, requirements, weekly status updates, and necessary meetings with managers or stakeholders.
  • Create specifications for enhancements or modifications to business systems and communicate user needs to the Information Services team.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, technical documentation, standards, and procedures.
  • Provide ongoing training and support for applications to end users and dealers.
  • May take on Testing Coordinator duties to ensure comprehensive coverage, test plans, documentation of functionalities, and testing processes within a release.
  • Participate in system testing of enhancements and ensure completion of user acceptance testing.
  • May perform Sox Audit Coordinator functions, coordinating with Business Excellence to update links, responsibilities for process updates, review processes, and conduct audits while reporting findings.
  • Analyze and assess current business processes within the designated area and their impact on the Financial Products Division.
  • Collaborate with business area staff, Information Services, and other Corporate Support Departments to define project scope, deliverables, and controls for new and existing application development technologies and software capabilities.
  • Review industry best practices.
  • Evaluate if current processes align with best practices and if existing systems adequately support these processes.
  • Work with business areas to determine suitable systems and requirements to support processes.
  • May perform Website Content Owner and/or Access Coordinator responsibilities to ensure website content is current and functional, manage user access, and provide support.
  • Contribute to achieving continuous improvement objectives for the department.
  • Progress towards these objectives is measured through the maintenance of necessary metrics and analysis of related data.
  • Participate in identifying problem areas and developing resolutions.
  • Understand and apply the company's Harassment policy in all employment aspects.

Team Interaction:

  • Collaborate with other Information Services staff to research available technologies for current and future business applications and systems.
  • Work with Information Services staff to coordinate, monitor, and report project status, ensuring the delivery of quality solutions within agreed timelines.
