Financial Analyst II

Trane Technologies is seeking a Financial Analyst II to join its North America Record to Report ("RTR") Accounting team. This role is integral to the Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) organization and will report directly to an RTR Accounting Manager. The Financial Analyst II will be responsible for delivering financial insights through thorough research and account analysis. Key responsibilities include assisting with month-end closing activities, preparing journal entries, providing essential data for business units, and reconciling balance sheet accounts. Compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations and adherence to Trane Technologies' financial policies is crucial.

- This position is designated as a Hybrid role, requiring onsite work three days a week.
- Support processes related to NA Revenue to Margin Team, including inventory and cost accounting, revenue recognition, and managing bookings and backlog.
- Review transaction discrepancies to ensure accurate impact on perpetual and general ledger records.
- Analyze variances to identify underlying causes.
- Collaborate with business partners on NA Revenue to Margin Team processes.
- Assist with ad-hoc financial requests as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in general and cost accounting within a manufacturing context.
- Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Preferred knowledge of Trane Technologies' reporting structures and systems (e.g., Oracle R12, OneStream, PeopleSoft Financials) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Compensation Overview:
Base Pay Range: $70,000-$85,000+
Total compensation for this position will include a commission/incentive plan. Please note that this base pay range reflects national averages in the US, and actual compensation may vary based on factors such as seniority, merit, and geographic location.
