  • Product Merchandising: Manage product merchandising within the content management platform, ensuring all product details are accurate and up-to-date.
  • SEO Optimization: Utilize SEO best practices to create compelling product descriptions and optimize content for improved search visibility on the website.
  • Promotions Creation: Develop and implement product promotions designed to increase site conversions and drive revenue.
  • Website Optimization: Continuously optimize the website's merchandising elements to enhance user experience and streamline navigation.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team to strategize and drive traffic to key merchandising pages and promotional offers.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay abreast of retail and ecommerce trends, assessing how they can be integrated into our site to stay competitive.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Perform UAT to test new functionalities and bug fixes in the test environment. Document test steps, issues, and results, ensuring that new implementations meet requirements and do not disrupt core functions.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in online merchandising or ecommerce, with at least 1 year of direct experience in web merchandising. Additional experience is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Testing Skills: Proven experience in User Acceptance Testing, including both positive and negative testing. Ability to document issues and communicate effectively with IT and other stakeholders.
  • Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with content management systems, SEO practices, and basic HTML/CSS is advantageous.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions to improve site performance.
Compensation

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $25 to $30/HR. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
