We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our digital transformation initiatives at Telnet Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving meaningful change and ensuring the delivery of high-impact digital services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and timelines to ensure successful project delivery.
- Lead cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
- Manage vendors, facilitate meetings and agile ceremonies, and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
- Identify and manage risks, and act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders.
- Develop and implement effective mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and maintain progress.
- At least 5 years of experience in project planning and management, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
- Extensive experience in varying project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid, Scrum, or Kanban.
- Expertise in PPM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and diagramming tools such as Miro or Visio.
- Proficiency in software development tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Ability to translate technical and design tasks into project plans, and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- PMP certification.
- 3+ years of leadership experience.
- Experience with web management content systems such as SiteCore.
- Exposure to various technology platforms and services, including Salesforce, MuleSoft, Azure, Power Platform, ForgeRock, and Google Analytics.
The Project Manager will work on multiple projects simultaneously, leading a cross-functional project team to meet project objectives. The scope of assignments may evolve, either scaling down or expanding, as projects progress through different phases.
The engagement will be for a term of up to 12 months. All work will be performed in eight (8) hour shifts, Monday to Friday, excluding State holidays. Consultant must be available and working during core state working hours, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Eastern Time.
Consultant must be willing and available to travel into the office as requested or needed. If workflow dictates an on-site presence is not needed, consultant may work remotely. Consultant must be on camera during virtual meetings.
The contractor must provide their own laptop, webcam, and high-speed internet (if working remotely) to perform their duties. All software licenses and access will be provisioned by the State of Connecticut.
