Senior Budget Specialist for State Programs

About the RoleThe Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services is seeking a skilled Senior Budget Specialist to lead budget management and analysis for state programs.
Key Responsibilities- Perform technical and professional budget analysis for various complex financial documents
- Prepare organizational budgets and reports detailing contracted vendor reimbursement requests
- Oversee the development and coordination of Organizational Budgets, Legislative Appropriations Request, and budget adjustments
- Serve as senior budget liaison for state program staff and outside entities
- Demonstrated knowledge of DADS budget management and accounting policies, practices, and operations
- Ability to analyze financial data, prepare concise reports, and communicate effectively
- Experience in use of office productivity software and HHSAS Financials system
